6th Stomach Cancer Patient Empowerment Summit – Los Angeles (November 13-15, 2026)
Thank you for your interest in the 6th Hope for Stomach Cancer Patient Empowerment Summit, taking place November 13–15, 2026, at the Marriott Long Beach Airport in Long Beach, California.
This annual Summit brings together patients, caregivers, survivors, researchers, clinicians, industry partners, and advocates for a weekend of education, connection, collaboration, and hope. Through expert presentations, patient stories, research updates, and meaningful conversations, attendees will gain valuable knowledge while building lasting connections within the stomach cancer community.
The Summit begins Friday afternoon with registration and a welcome reception and concludes Sunday afternoon.

We gathered in Washington, DC, for the 5th Stomach Cancer Empowerment Summit, where this year’s theme, Turning Insight Into Impact, highlighted the power of knowledge and collaboration to drive real-world change.
Over the course of the summit, patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and researchers came together to share stories, learn from experts, and shape solutions that advance equity, innovation, and support for the stomach cancer community.
Through interactive workshops, expert-led panels, and meaningful networking opportunities, attendees gained tools, confidence, and connections to strengthen survivorship and improve care.

Immediately following the DC Summit, join us as we meet with policymakers to push for progress on the Stomach Cancer Prevention and Early Detection Act—legislation aimed at improving screening, early diagnosis, and equitable treatment nationwide.

4th Stomach Cancer Patient Empowerment Summit – Los Angeles November 14–16, 2025 | Long Beach, CA
The 4th Patient Empowerment Summit brought together patients, caregivers, clinicians, and advocates from across the country for three days of education, connection, and patient-powered progress.
Centered on the theme Patient-Powered Progress, the Summit emphasized trauma-informed care, survivorship, equitable access to treatment, and the critical role of lived experience in shaping research and policy.
Through expert-led panels, interactive workshops, and community-building sessions, attendees strengthened their knowledge, confidence, and connections — reinforcing that progress is strongest when driven by patients.
3rd Patient Empowerment Summit & 2nd Advocacy Day (Washington, DC – February 8–11, 2025)
The 3rd Summit empowered patients, caregivers, and advocates to take charge of their health journeys. Key themes included reducing racial and socioeconomic health disparities, driving systemic change, and ensuring equitable, high-quality care for all patients.
The 2nd Advocacy Day focused on raising awareness at the highest levels of government, with participants completing specialized training before meeting with legislators on Capitol Hill to advance early detection, prevention, and equitable treatment for stomach cancer.
2nd Patient Empowerment Summit & 1st Advocacy Day (Washington, DC – May 5–7, 2024)
This gathering emphasized patient-centered care, research, and advocacy. Highlights included discussions on health equity, patient rights, and mental health, as well as advocacy efforts that contributed to the introduction of the Stomach Cancer Prevention and Early Detection Act.
