We are firm in our belief that through research, a cure for stomach cancer will be discovered.

And Hope For Stomach Cancer’s vision is to bridge the gap between Research and Patient Care.

Currently, Hope does not directly award medical grants.  However, we keep track of the gastric cancer grants that are available.

Department Of Defense: Peer Reviewed Cancer Research Program

This pool of research grant monies is also referred to as the DoD PRCRP.  And stomach, GEL and esophagus cancer are eligible.  FY22 will open soon.

American Gastroenterological Association

The AGA Research Foundation provides over $2 million annually to spur discoveries in gastroenterology and hepatology.

Look for speciality awards here.  Also, inquire about The Ben Feinstein Memorial Research Scholar Award through The Gastric Cancer Foundation which provides three-year research grants of $100,000 per year.

This award offers facility grants every year/every other year.

Stupid Strong

Stupid Strong is also a 501(c)(3) non-profit.  The grant-based organization is dedicated to raising awareness about gastric cancer.

Additionally, the organization supports research funding and providing education and support to families in need.

Gastric Cancer Foundation

The Gastric Cancer Foundation provides two different types of grants/awards.

  1. There’s Early State Seed Funding. 
  2. The Ben Feinstein Memorial Research Scholar Award with American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) Foundation.
